About

Hello and welcome! It's good to see you.

I am a passionate lover of literature. In terms of original writing, I prefer to write poetry, but I read just about anything. I started this blog so I could write some reviews about the books I've read in a more comprehensive way. Usually when I read book reviews on blogs online, they tend to be a bit short and I don't actually feel like I get much out of them. All the opinions expressed on this blog are products of my own mind. I like thinking in terms of "Literature Philosophy" and applying the ideas expressed in literature to controversial thought. It's always a rewarding experience to get something new out of something you've read.

I chose 'Montblancs and Moleskines' for my blog name because they are such cult instruments for writing. This is definitely not to say you need both or either to become an established and respected writer, but they do carry a long history with them. People have asked me what the point is of using either a Montblanc pen or Moleskine paper when a normal biro and refill work just as well. To that, I must say it's all about the feeling. You can write with anything, anywhere, but maybe holding the Montblanc will remind you a little of all the great names who used the same label and feed you some of their creative energy. I know I get excited thinking about it like that, anyway.

Hopefully, you might discover a new favourite book through this blog. I really wanted to share my experiences from reading because there are so many things you reap from reading that just can't be confined to one person.
